What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy offers an integrated and individualised approach to advanced neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and recovery. It’s for all types of injury and impairments regardless of how long you have been experiencing them for. Our goal is to help you reduce pain, regain and enhance muscle movements, treat injuries and prevent injuries from happening again. We’ll work with you so you can return to your work, sport or hobbies safely and quickly.
Who can access Physiotherapy services?
Everyone can access our Physiotherapy services. We work with all adults over the age of 18, and all types of injuries and disabilities regardless of severity of the injury, or how recent or old that injury is.

Where are Spinal Life Physiotherapy services offered?
We offer Physiotherapy at our Healthy Living Centres in Brisbane and Cairns, one in Albion and the other in Woolloongabba. We also have a clinic in Far North Queensland at the Cairns Healthy Living Centre. We offer home assessments and community assessments on a per case basis, and we have recently started offering telehealth consults – that anyone with an internet connection can access anywhere in Australia.
What type of services do you offer?
We offer a wide range of services, including, manual therapy, focused rehabilitation, equipment prescriptions, pain recovery, hydrotherapy, exercise prescriptions, education, medico-legal reports and home assessments.
Why would I need Physiotherapy?
You may consider seeing a Spinal Life Physiotherapists if you need support in: Improving your overall activity levels and independence, reducing pain, need help managing life with a disability, and for general health and wellness. This could include improving how you transfer, how to better use your wheelchair, improving or working on your walking and balance, seeking advice on equipment, starting a gym exercise program, organising and learning about hydrotherapy, or getting advice on how to better manage your disability and what other services can support your journey
What funding bodies do Spinal Life Physiotherapists work with?
We can work with almost all funding types including: NDIS, NIIS, NIISQ, TIO, Private funding such as insurance or Workcover and self-funded individuals. If you’re unsure if we can work with your funding body, just get in touch with our friendly team via phone or by completing a online contact form.
Do you only offer Physiotherapy services to people with spinal cord damage?
Spinal Life Physiotherapists work with all types of disabilities and injuries, whether its neurological, musculoskeletal, acquired at birth or later in life, new or old injuries. Essentially, anyone who is experiencing any form of physical and functional limitations are invited to contact us.
